VentGuard

Schauenburg Systems developed an ultrasonic anemometer called the VentGuarD. The VentGuarD was designed for tough mining conditions. It has no moving parts and requires almost no maintenance. The unique features of the VentGuarD that sets it apart from other instruments is the local alarm feature, that warns people in the vicinity of insufficient airflow, measures accuracy at low speeds and intrinsic safety compliance makes this instrument purposely built for mining. Beyond the unique features of the VentGuarD, it is locally designed and will be manufactured locally in compliance with the mining charter.
